The glistening waters around Finn Bay Lodge have always been known to house some of the most magnificent fish, offering both challenge and reward to anglers. But on this particular visit, The Outdoor Line team outdid themselves. Amid the stunning backdrop of our bay, they landed a king salmon of epic proportions. Weighing in at an impressive 27.5 pounds, this catch was the talk of the lodge! The sheer excitement of such a catch was palpable. Guests, staff, and even local wildlife (we swear the eagles looked envious) took note of this monumental achievement.

Beyond Fishing

While the king salmon was undoubtedly the star of the show, The Outdoor Line team took time to soak in all the offerings of Finn Bay. From our cozy accommodations to the heartwarming hospitality, they experienced firsthand the serene atmosphere and picturesque views that make our lodge a unique getaway. Whether it was enjoying a morning coffee overlooking the bay or partaking in evening tales around the fireplace, every moment was cherished.

As their stay drew to a close, there was a unanimous sentiment: they would be back. And we are delighted to announce that The Outdoor Line has already marked their calendars for next August! It's not just about landing another king salmon (though that’s definitely on the agenda); it's about reliving the magic of Finn Bay Lodge and creating more cherished memories.
